We hope that you and your family and team members are all keeping well in these very surreal times! 

 Obviously, here at WODland HQ we’ve been monitoring the extended coronavirus lockdown very closely. 

This is still a very difficult and fast-moving situation, of course, but after a lot of careful consideration, we have sadly taken the decision to;

postpone

WODland: The New Dawn

until

21st & 22nd August 2021. 

Our number one priority here at WODland has and always will be the health and safety of all our athletes, judges, spectators and crew. Despite our best efforts, we do not feel that we could guarantee that we would be able to put the required social distancing measures in place and therefore we would not be able to maintain the highest levels of safety at this year’s event, even if we took all the necessary measures and precautions. And with no clear vision as to how these measures might look in August, unfortunately we believe that postponing this year’s event until next summer is the right decision.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

We want to stay positive, and remind everyone who was looking forward to taking part in this year’s event that we’re not cancelling our competition – just postponing it. 

With that in mind, we’re really keen for you to continue to support WODland, so that you – like us! – will be able to return bigger, stronger and better than ever before next year. 

Therefore, if you had a team due to take part at this year’s event, your place will automatically be deferred, and you’ll be allocated your team place for August 2021.

MOVING ON

We might not have been able to compete this year, but you’re all part of the WODland family now – and like all families, we’ll get through the highs and the lows together! 

Great News - For all teams deferring their team slot with us until next year, we’ve arranged a whole host of benefits to keep you all engaged and involved with WODland, and to say a big thank you for keeping your faith in us for another year.
